Our first couponing experience

So Crystal and I decided that we should start couponing with some help from my good ol' sis. So, we got the Sunday paper this week and cut out all the coupons we wanted and also went online and got some good ones. So today, we decided to venture out to Target and practice our couponing skills. Then here's how we did:

3 Hershey Bliss Candy Bars $1.00 each After coupon: free
Kraft Barbeque Sauce: $2.00. After coupon: $1.00
Kraft Salad Dressing Sale $1.59. After coupon: $.59
London Broil Steak $4.93. After coupon: $2.43
Edge Shave Gel $2.24. After coupon: $1.24
Aquafresh Toothpaste $1.97. After coupon: $.97

Total Cost: $5.44. Total Savings: $10.36

Not too bad, eh?

  1. not too shabby!!! Isn't couponing amazing?! I'll be sure to let you know of the deals as they come. You may have to sit on those coupons for a little while just because you need a few weeks worth of coupons to really start seeing some great results. I'll keep you posted! Hooray for new couponers!
