Ward Activity Night

So last Friday night was Ward Activity Night and wow-was it good times! We first had a catered dinner by BYU Catering which actually was pretty good-I mainly liked the yummy ranch dressing salad and creamy cheesy potatoes! BUT we also got our pictures taken as noted below. We also volunteered to participate in this little relay race where one team on one side of the table had to complete a number of tasks such as stringing popcorn, putting Pez candies in a pez container, making a snowflake-doing all of this while wearing gloves and trying to beat the opposing team on the other side of the table. Our job on our team was to have Randall decorate a Christmas cookie with frosting and sprinkles while I had to eat the dang thing! OH MY GOSH! It was like the most difficult thing to chew in the world!! The consistency was soo thick that I could barely chew it and since I have such a small mouth-it was especially hard! SO yes..we did lose because I cant' chew fast and I have a small mouth (and I didn't really like the cookie either as you can tell in the pic) BUT it was great times and I'm glad we got to participate! So I've posted some pics because we FINALLY have some! yay!

A NEW FAV.

SO one weekend back during this fall semester, Randall's mom cam out and bought us edemame (I think that's how you spell it, but whatev) AND we just fell in love!!!!!!!!!! It is absolutely fab! Seriously, it is soo scrumptious AND it's really healthy for you since there are soy beans inside! All you have to do is cook them in the micro for 3 minutes, season them with sea salt and wua la! They're ready! Then you bite down and suck the bean out without eating the outer shell. I actually had them before when I went to lunch with some family friends at the Cheesecake Factory. They served them as an appetizer!! Can you believe it! It is that good! However, I thought that was kinda silly since you can go to Costco, get a huge box for like 10 bucks or something, and receive muchisimo packets of edemame! Yes it is glorious. We are now hooked. Many of you probably have tried them at one time or another in your life . Many of you are probably thinking-duh Crystal-of course we've heard of edemame, but that's ok, because if so, this is just a friendly reminder to go out and buy some :) I think I'll have some for lunch today.............

Oh to be in Texas right now

SO, I always forget how much I would like to be living in Texas right now until huge snow storms come our way to P town where we get pretty much-endless snow! (and I mean-endless..like it doesn't stop seriously!) I wouldn't mind, I think, if I stayed at home all day and just got to watch the snow from my window, BUT since I do go to work all day, yes, it becomes a nuisance! Not to mention the roads that are barely shoveled and the long time it takes to shovel the snow off my car! lol.. but I don't want to sound like too much of a complainer since that's not becoming SO I will say again-it is pretty, and that's about all that's good about snow. :) Hope you enjoy the pix!

What a great Date Night!!

So even though this post won't have pictures because I didn't take any last night, and I'm really sorry because I LOVE posting pics, I still just have to write about a great date night that I had with my honey last night! I got home from my internship on Friday night since it was the last day of my internship!! YAY! I will be graduating this month! We then ate some pizza and headed over to a cool place called "Comedy Sports" Heard of it? Well, if you haven't, you definitely need to become well acquainted! It was soo fun! It's pretty much a show that displays two teams competing against each other doing improv comedy skits and it's hilar! Randall and I could not stop laughing! In fact, it was so funny, my abs actually started hurting!! I know-sad times, I'm way out of shape, right? right. BUT it was suuuch good times and I highly recommend it to anyone that hasn't been or hasn't even heard of it! By far-the best comedy you can get in little Provo. I've been twice now and I wish I had the money to go every week! We then got some ice cream at Sub Zero--which I thought would be empty and it's FREEZING outside, but apparently in Provo-even the ice creams shops are filled on a Friday night in the middle of the shivering cold winter. We got some yummy ice cream and headed home to a warm apartment. It was a good night though, lots of laughs and good times with my honey bun. What I'm going to write below really won't matter to most of you, but I need to write them so I don't forget.

Date night with Alex and Chris-"horn dog"
Date night with Katie and Andrew-"hot flashes"
