I left my heart in San Francisco...and Bakersfield

Randall and I really wanted to go on a little trippy trip..well....we also really wanted to get out of Utah for a change of scenery as well!(well.. and a change of weather) We had planned on taking a trip to go see Natty Patty anyway so we figured the 3 day Presidents Day weekend would be perfect! Natty's baby boy Hyrum, practically like a new nephew to us, was being blessed that Sunday and so it was a great weekend to take a vaca! Friday morning we flew into San Francisco and were picked up my g ma's neighbor Darrell, that is just a total sweet heart! We then spent the day in San Fran and saw the many amazing sights! Of course we went to Pier 39 and looked in all the cool shops, traveled down Fishermn's Warf, tasted the amazing chocolate at Ghiradelli Square, and lunched at the infamous Boudin's Bakery where, of course, the best sourdough bread is made! We didn't get to go to Alcatraz, but that was kinda out of our travel budget-dang its got expensive! However, we had a blast in San Fran and it brought back the many mems of going there with my family as a little girl.

On Saturday, we headed down to Bakersfield and picked my parents up in Fresno on the way there. We all went to dinner with Natty, John, and baby Hyrum and had a great time! The next day we went to church and the baby blessing was beautiful. We then had a little get together at Natty's house and celebrated such a wonderful memory for the Lalone family. We have plenty of pics to celebrate precious little Hyrum. What a great weekend to spend with my wonderful valentine, family, and friends!!

Look! We had a baby and didn't tell anyone!! Isn't he ador??!

COUPON MADNESS

SO, even though we started couponing like even before our marriage, I've gotten a lot more into it lately and I've almost gotten as good as Randall-which is really hard to do-BAAAA LEVE me(yes..i know that is spelled wrong) SO I went to this couponing class like 2 weeks ago and it TOTALLY got me pumped to do couponing, especially when the teacher stressed how much easier it is than some make it out to be. SO-like I said, I got way more into it and we have been saving money like CRAAAZY! The picture posted below probably seems like we spent about $75 bucks, right? WELL, that's about how much it should have been if we paid full price for it. OHH but don't you worry, because with store sales and coupons, we saved close to 65% making it 24 buck a roos!!! I know, right?! pretty dang amazing, I definitely appreeshed (short for appreciate) those deals..let me tell ya! Anyway, I definitely recommend gettin those scissors out and start organizing those coupons because you will lOVE the way you save mula, especially in this economy. I never thought I would post a pic like this because I thought it was soo funny how all these young moms would post pics like these and say how much money they saved, but believe me, it makes my heart happy and I feel way good-so its ok if you want to too pepes ;)

YES ALL OF THIS FOR $24.00! THAT'S HOT!
